Beach Hut Guest Information – Everything You Need for Your Day
This page covers access, facilities, parking, water, toilets, dogs and end-of-day procedures. Please read before arrival. Most questions are answered below.

🔑 Check-In and Key Collection
Self Check-In – From 10am
Your beach hut hire begins at 10am. You will receive an email by 10am the day before your booking confirming:
• Your hut number
• Access instructions
• Key collection details
If you cannot see the email, check junk/spam.
If it has not arrived by 10:30am the day before, contact us
🔒 Key Return – By Midnight
Please return your key to the letterbox inside the Beach Hut toilet facility any time before midnight.
The toilet door auto-locks. Your key is for entry only.

The Beach Huts are located on the promenade just in front the miniature train and miniature golf course.
🅿️ Parking
Nearest parking: St Annes Swimming Pool Car Park (Pay & Display).
A small number of roadside spaces sit in front of the Island Cinema building.
In summer, arrive early.
Car parks fill quickly on warm days.
🚶 Access to the Promenade
Access is on foot via the promenade entrance outside the RNLI station.
Unauthorised vehicles are not permitted on the promenade.
🛒 Beach Hut Carts
Six large carts are available inside the Beach Hut toilet area.
Please:
• Use for loading and unloading only
• Return promptly
• Be considerate during peak times
Best entrance when using a cart: RNLI promenade access point.
🏠 What’s Included in Your Beach Hut
All huts include mains electricity and:
• Fitted kitchenette
• Fridge
• Microwave
• Kettle
• Heater
• 20 litres fresh tap water
• Crockery and cutlery for 6
• Tea towel, cloth and washing up liquid
• Ship’s table
• Bench seating for 2
• 4 additional chairs
Maximum occupancy: 6 people (including children and dogs).
🚰 Water Supply – Important
Each hut has approximately 20 litres of fresh water.
We recommend boiling before drinking.
We do not provide additional water during the day.
Once water runs out, the waste container will also be full. Do not continue pouring liquid down the sink once empty to avoid overflow.
🍽️ Washing Up
Good news! Cutlery and crockery are all machine-washed, which means you do not need to worry about washing up! Save your water for those delightful cups of tea, as the water supply may not go as far as you might think!
🚾 Private Toilet Access
Your booking includes access to our private Beach Hut toilet facility in The Island Cinema building near the RNLI station.
• Four individual cubicles
• Access via your silver hut key
• Door auto-locks on closing
• Key is for entry only
Please ensure the door closes securely when leaving.

🐶 Dogs
Dogs are welcome.
They count as one of your six permitted occupants.
Example: 2 adults + 3 children + 1 dog = 6 total

Check the Met Office Weather and Plan Accordingly
On cooler days:
• Bring extra layers
• Use the heater provided
• Pack wind protection
St Annes can feel colder on the promenade due to sea breeze.
