Everything you need for a relaxed day at St Annes Beach Huts, including access, parking, facilities, water, toilets, dogs and what to do before leaving.

Arrival and access
When can I access my beach hut?
Your beach hut will be unlocked and ready from 10am. You may arrive at any time after this.
When will I receive my hut number?
We will email your hut number and access instructions by 10am on the day before your booking.
Please check your junk or spam folder if you cannot see the email. If it has not arrived by 10.30am, please contact us.
Where do I collect the key?
🔑 Your beach hut key will be inside the drawer in your hut.
Please keep the key safe, as you will also need it to enter our private toilet facility.

The huts are on the promenade in front of the miniature railway and miniature golf course.
🅿️ Where is the nearest parking?
The nearest parking is St Annes Swimming Pool Car Park, which is pay and display.
A small number of roadside spaces are also available in front of The Island Cinema building.
Parking can fill quickly on warm days and during busy periods, so we recommend arriving early.
Can I drive onto the promenade?
No. Unauthorised vehicles are not permitted on the promenade.
Pedestrian access is available via the promenade entrance outside the RNLI station.
Are carts available for our belongings?
Yes. Six large carts are stored inside the private beach hut toilet area.
Please use them for loading and unloading only, then return them promptly so other guests can use them. Carts are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The RNLI promenade entrance is the easiest access point when using a cart.

Inside your beach hut
What is included in the hut?
Every beach hut includes mains electricity and:
Fitted kitchenette
Fridge
Microwave
Kettle
Heater
Approximately 20 litres of tap water
Crockery and cutlery for six
Complimentary tea and coffee
Tea towel
Cleaning cloth
Washing-up liquid
Ship’s table
Bench seating for two
Four additional chairs
Milk is not provided, so please bring your own.
How many people can use one hut?
Each hut accommodates a maximum of six occupants.
Adults, children, babies and dogs all count towards this limit.
For example, two adults, three children and one dog equals six occupants.
Can I get more water during the day?
Each hut includes approximately 20 litres of tap water, supplied in a 25-litre container.
No additional water can be supplied during your visit, so please use it carefully.
We recommend bringing bottled water for drinking.
Can I drink the water?
The container is filled with fresh tap water. However, we recommend boiling it before drinking or bringing your own bottled drinking water.
Why must I stop using the sink when the water runs out?
When the fresh-water container is empty, the waste-water container may also be full.
Do not pour any more liquid down the sink once the water has run out, as the waste container may overflow.
Do I need to wash the crockery?
No. We machine-wash all crockery and cutlery after your visit.
Please save the hut’s limited water supply for drinks and essential use.

Toilets and accessibility
Where are the private toilets?
Your booking includes access to our private Beach Hut toilet facility inside The Island Cinema building, near the RNLI station.
The facility has four individual cubicles. Use your silver beach hut key to enter.
The door locks automatically when it closes. Please make sure it has closed securely when you leave.
Where is the nearest accessible toilet?
The nearest accessible toilet is at Splash Water Park.

Are the beach huts accessible?
Please check our Accessibility Guide before booking, particularly if anyone in your group uses a wheelchair or has limited mobility.

👨👩👧👦 Children and dogs
Are children welcome?
Yes. Children and babies are very welcome, but they must be supervised at all times.
There is an approximately 1.2-metre drop from the promenade onto the beach directly in front of the huts. Safer beach access is available at either end of the promenade.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes. Dogs are welcome and count as one of the six permitted occupants.
Dogs must:
Be kept under control
Never be left unattended in the hut
Stay off the furniture
Not cause a nuisance to other guests
Have all waste removed
Seasonal dog restrictions apply to parts of the beach beyond the RNLI ramp between May and September. Please observe all local dog-control signs.
Can I bring another type of pet?
No. Only dogs are permitted in the beach huts.
Rules during your visit
Can I smoke or vape inside the hut?
No. Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside any beach hut.
Can we have a barbecue?
No. Barbecues, candles, fireworks and other forms of heated cooking are not permitted.
A microwave and kettle are provided inside the hut.
Can we play music?
Please be considerate of neighbouring guests and local residents. Music and other noise must be kept at a reasonable level throughout your visit.
What happens if the weather is bad?
The beach huts have mains electricity and a heater, so they can still be enjoyed in cooler weather.
The promenade can feel colder because of the sea breeze. Bring extra layers and suitable wind and rain protection, and check the forecast before travelling.
Normal cancellation terms apply unless we have to cancel your booking.
Where can I check the weather and tides?
Check the Met Office Weather forecast and the St Annes tide times before travelling.
Never rely on tide times alone when making decisions about beach safety. Please follow local signs and safety advice.
🧹 Before you leave
What should I do with my rubbish?
A black rubbish bag is provided inside the hut.
Small amounts of rubbish may be placed in the bins on the promenade. If you have a full black bag, leave it securely inside the hut or take it home.
Never leave rubbish outside the hut, as birds may tear the bag open.
How should I leave the hut?
Please:
Put your rubbish in the bag provided
Leave used crockery and cutlery inside
Return furniture and equipment to their original positions
Remove all personal belongings
Leave the hut reasonably clean and tidy
Return any cart immediately after use
Return the key before leaving
You do not need to wash the crockery or cutlery.
Where do I return the key?
Return the key through the letterbox inside the private Beach Hut toilet facility before midnight.
The toilet door locks automatically when it closes, so please ensure you have returned the key before leaving the facility.
What happens if I do not return the key?
A £20 retrieval and replacement charge applies if the key is not returned.
What happens if I leave something behind?
Contact us as soon as possible.
If you ask us to return an item, a minimum £20 handling charge plus postage will apply.

What should I do if I cannot access my hut?
Check the instructions in your access email first.
If you still cannot access the hut, call the support number provided in that email.
What should I do if the electricity fails or there is a serious leak?
Emergency support is available from 10am until midnight.
The emergency telephone number is included in your access email. Please use it for genuine problems such as:
Being unable to access your hut
Loss of electricity
A serious water leak
